LionFish is an American rock band based in Salt Lake City, UT. LionFish was formed in 2008 by Derrek Wright. We were based in Portland OR from 2010-2018 and returned back to Salt Lake in 2019. We've played all over the Western United States and are now actively gigging all along the Wasatch Front. Our first release, Swimming Upstream was produced by Mark Towner Williams (Tina Turner, Steven Stills, John Hiatt) and is available on all streaming platforms.
